“Been here a few times now. The rare honest mechanic. My wife just needed some pins replaced and she was charged 15 minutes labor instead of the typical 1 hour minimum. Prices are very reasonable and work is done well. Going down now to pick up my Forester for a new starter and oil change. Done under 300 dollars. They also restore Subarus and sell them. Having had a terrible service experience at Mike Shaw in Denver I was really looking for a shop I could trust.  Clarkson’s only services Subaru and while it’s obvious that they know their stuff and provide a high quality of mechanical service, their customer service is also top notch, which frankly means a lot to me.  As someone who knows zilch about cars I feel like I’m easy to take advantage of and I’ve never had the sense that they were trying to pull one over on me – they’ve done minor work (replacing a headlight) for free and are always clear and transparent about what work needs to be done, what work might be upcoming but could wait, and why.
